Description

As a Senior Quality Technician, you will ensure that incoming and in process materials meet defined quality standards for our single use bioprocessing systems. You will contribute to product quality and manufacturing efficiency by executing inspections, supporting quality systems, and collaborating cross functionally to address nonconformances and improve processes. What Will You Do? Inspection and Execution Perform incoming and in process inspections on materials and assemblies to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards Meet or exceed inspection throughput targets while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes Documentation and Systems Accurately document inspection results and material transactions in ERP systems according to established procedures Maintain complete, audit ready inspection records, reports, and quality documentation Support tracking and reporting of quality metrics Nonconformance and Quality Systems Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming materials in a timely manner Support Material Review Board activities, including data collection and execution of dispositions Assist with customer complaint investigations and corrective action activities as needed Collaboration and Communication Communicate quality issues effectively with manufacturing, purchasing, and quality engineering teams Work closely with manufacturing and quality engineering to support inspection criteria and process implementation Participate in daily tier meetings and cross functional discussions Continuous Improvement Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes, efficiency, and product quality Support implementation and standardization of inspection methods and procedures Compliance and Safety Follow and reinforce all safety, health, and quality policies and procedures Ensure work is performed in compliance with company and regulatory requirements How Will You Get Here? Education Associate of Science degree in a technical or technology related field, or equivalent experience, preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities Senior Quality Technicians interact with supervisors, managers, employees, vendors, and customers. The following skills are essential: Minimum of three years of experience in quality inspection and manufacturing assembly or a comparable role Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual onsite attendance Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while delivering strong customer service Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload based on customer demand and schedules Strong collaboration skills with a proactive and supportive team mindset Proficiency in computer systems to accurately transact inspection and material data Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint Experience using PLM and ERP systems Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to read and understand layouts, mechanical drawings, and wiring schematics Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges Knowledge of manufacturing processes Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Ability to frequently work at floor level and climb ladders Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work at a computer for extended periods Position Type: Contingent, United States (Sunday through Saturday) Labor Category: Contingent, United States (Sunday through Saturday)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $31.00/hr.
