    Description

    Quality Control Technician (Senior Level) Hebron, KY 41048, USA

    Shift: 1st shift - 7:30am - 4pm Mon - Fri / 6:30am - 3pm Mon - Fri while training

    Duration: 9+ Months (With possible extension/conversion to hire)

    Hourly Rate on W2: $22/hr. on W2

    Job Description:

    The Senior Quality Inspector Inspects and reports on manufacturing quality.

    The incumbent may perform the inspection of incoming materials, packaging and labelling components, perform quality duties for work in process and perform final product testing using more complex inspection gauging instruments.

    The incumbent understands basic geometric dimensioning and Tolerance systems and is able to follow and perform complex test methods. The incumbent will need computer skills that allows for daily use of multiple databases.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform assessment testing as scheduled on in-process and/or finished device products according to all quality documentation.

    Evaluate test results for compliance to specification. Recognize problems that might affect the quality of integrity of the product and communicate problems.

    Perform calibration and routine daily/weekly instrument maintenance to ensure accuracy of results.

    Work with the team to help identify Lean manufacturing opportunities for continuous process improvement and suggest alternatives and solutions to problems.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Open to learning Lean Manufacturing or DBS tools Must work well with others and understand how to be successful in team environment.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), required Basic understanding of Statistical analysis is needed

    Experience working in a diagnostic medical lab

    Preferred Qualifications 3 years experience in a lab setting, preferred
