We are seeking a Quality Associate to join our team and help ensure that our products consistently meet customer and company specifications.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform final, first-piece, and in-process inspections on a variety of parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct inspections using a range of measuring instruments and equipment, following established inspection procedures and allowable variations.
  • Document all inspection data accurately on designated forms per the Quality Control Manual.
  • Make clear, concise decisions regarding product or operation acceptance and rejection.
  • Initiate and complete Certification, QA, and NRC reports as required.
  • During in-process inspections, collaborate effectively with Press Room personnel to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Provide feedback, suggestions, and ideas that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the inspection area and equipment in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.
  • Understand and prioritize high-demand inspection tasks to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to all procedures, including the Safety Manual and Employee Handbook.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
  • Assist and train press operators in performing their own in-process inspections.
  • Conduct random floor audits to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
