Quality Technician

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate quality records, coordinating documentation, EIDPs (End-Item Data Packages), quality containments, as-built records, and supporting the day-to-day administrative activities associated with the company's quality management system. The Quality Coordinator works closely with Quality, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure quality-related documentation and records are complete, accurate, properly maintained, and readily available when needed.

Job Summary

• Maintain and organize quality-related records, files, forms, and documentation.
• Coordinate quality containments for nonconforming materials, assemblies, and finished products, including sorting, inspection, segregation, documentation, and follow-up.
• Manage and maintain EIDPs and customer quality packages, ensuring inspection, test, traceability, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
• Coordinate and verify as-built documentation, including BOM revisions, component substitutions, deviations, serial/lot traceability, and final product configuration.
• Support NCR/MRB, rework, corrective action, and disposition activities by gathering information and coordinating cross-functional follow-up.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, and Planning to resolve production quality issues and documentation discrepancies.

Track open quality actions, containments, and documentation issues through timely resolution and closure.

• Support customer and internal audits by providing accurate quality records and traceability documentation.
• Identify recurring quality and documentation issues and escalate trends requiring corrective action.
• Track open quality issues, corrective actions, and required follow-up activities.
• Prepare routine quality reports, spreadsheets, logs, and status updates.
• Coordinate the collection of required documentation from Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments.
• Assist with preparation and organization of documentation for customers and internal audits.
• Assist with customer requests for quality documentation and records.
• Support supplier quality documentation and maintain related records.
• Provide general administrative support to the Quality department and Quality Manager.
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
• Performs other assignments as required

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality, electronics manufacturing, inspection, production coordination, or similar role preferred.
• Experience with ERP, MES, QMS, document-control, or manufacturing systems preferred.
