Quality Data Analyst
Location: Oldsmar, FL
Job ID: #72772
Pay Range: $40-48 an hour
12 month contract
WHAT WE'RE DOING
We are dedicated to delivering mission-critical hardware and services that meet the most stringent performance and safety standards. By harnessing advanced analytics, statistical rigor, and a relentless focus on data quality, we turn raw operational information into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement across the enterprise. In this role, you will have a direct impact on product excellence, supporting engineering, manufacturing, and program teams with trustworthy, data-driven recommendations in an environment that values integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
THE WORK
This is a contract requirement for a Quality Data Analyst supporting a high-precision electronics production facility. You will partner with program teams and multiple delivery sites that receive complex assemblies, including Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), cabling, and box-level hardware. In close collaboration with Quality Program Managers, Manufacturing leads, and Advanced Quality Technology specialists, you will use data-driven analysis to identify root-cause remediations, keep product quality on-spec, and sustain on-time delivery. This role requires the ability to work independently, a proven track record of cross-site collaboration, and a solid foundation in quality engineering methods.
Core Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Decision & Root-Cause Remediation - Apply SPC, Six-Sigma, regression, and hypothesis testing to uncover the true causes of non-conforming hardware. Develop corrective-action plans, track effectiveness, and verify that problems are eliminated at the source rather than merely patched.
- Executive Communication & Storytelling - Translate complex analytical findings into concise visual stories and briefings that drive timely actions across the production site and downstream customers.
= Quality Metrics & Dashboards - Design and maintain Power BI/Tableau dashboards that surface defect trends, first-pass yield, scrap rates, and other KPIs to enable real-time, actionable decision-making.
- Program & KPI Management - Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators; maintain audit-ready data to satisfy ISO 9001/AS9100 and other stringent regulatory and contractual standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Quality and Manufacturing Program Managers, engineering leads, and Change Control Boards to align on quality objectives and deliver timely health metrics.
- Process Improvement & Automation - Leverage Python, VBA, or Alteryx to automate data extraction and trend analysis, reducing manual effort and accelerating the decision cycle.
- Data Acquisition & ETL - Identify and ingest novel internal and external data sources; build robust ETL pipelines with rigorous quality assurance and lineage documentation.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a proactive, data-centric problem-solver who thrives on turning raw information into clear, actionable insight. Comfortable working independently yet adept at building strong cross-functional relationships, you naturally bridge the gap between complex analytics and strategic decision-making. Your curiosity drives you to dig beneath the surface of every defect, using statistical rigor to uncover true root causes and implement lasting remediation. You communicate with confidence, crafting visual stories that make data intuitive for any audience. Passionate about continuous improvement, you embrace automation and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and accelerate results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
Professional experience analyzing large datasets, building automated reports/dashboards, or supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
Experience collaborating in a cross-functional environment and communicating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
DESIRED SKILLS
Hands-on experience with statistical methods used in manufacturing (SPC, Capability Analysis, Pareto, Design of Experiments).
Certification or training in Six Sigma, Lean, or other structured continuous-improvement methodologies.
Experience building automated data workflows or ETL processes using Python, SQL, or Alteryx.
Prior experience in Aerospace, Defense, or High-Reliability Electronics manufacturing.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other aerospace quality standards.
Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law
