JOB PURPOSE Member of the Norcross Facility Technical Staff reporting to the Quality Manager. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Norcross Facilities Quality Management System and its compliance to ISO-9001. Actively communicates and participates in a continuous improvement environment, driving enhancements to current methods, policies, and procedures.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED Associate degree or higher.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 2-5 Years manufacturing experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications: Internal Quality Auditor certification Strong hands-on experience with problem-solving and related tools Six Sigma Green
RESPONSIBILITIES Day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System Lead raw material control program, including supply quality control and improvement Maintain equipment calibration program Maintain internal and external documentation control program Support 3rd-party quality audits Other quality functions as determined by customer or business

This role supports fast-paced operations and is expected to be able to assess risk and impact on the facility for all types of nonconformities, supplier, customer complaints, internal process deviations, or product defects, and drive the impacted cross-functional partners, including operations engineering, to develop needed solutions. Included in the expectation is the ability to know when to escalate to ensure cross-functional teams can mitigate any high risks on time.
Day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System, which includes ensuring the right metrics are in place to oversee the QMS performance and the monitoring of results to determine whether improvements need to be made. Engage in best practices of change management when implementing or reviewing the implementation of a new process or changes to a process.
