Job Description

Title: Quality Engineer 1
Location: Gastonia, NC - 28056
Duration: 12 Months Contract (possible extension)

Top Hard Must Have Skills Required For This Role:

• Problem solving skills, material inspection experience, knowledge in sheet metal manufacturing processes.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering or related.

Years of Experience:

• 2-3 years.

Travel Required:

• May be required to travel to Richmond once or twice per month.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Material inspection at the supplier site and approval to release shipments to Richmond, document photos of data of shipments, problem solving on rejected shipments.

Interview Process:

• 2-3 interviews with the Hiring Manager, SQE Team and Quality Manager.

Job Description:

• Quality assurance consists of the development and implementation of effective methods and procedures and the use of proper equipment to effectively respond to requirements for accuracy of company products and services.
• Review and coordinate quality assurance and quality control specifications.
• Develop or evaluate quality programs, measure quality activities and coordinate quality functions.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve effectiveness of quality operations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
