Quality Engineer

About the Role

Support the administration and continual improvement of our client's Quality Management System (QMS). Focus on Calibration and Incoming Quality Assurance (IQA) processes to ensure compliance and quality excellence. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and compliance across the organization's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Calibration Management System for compliance and effectiveness.
• Oversee Incoming Quality Assurance activities, including inspection planning and managing nonconformance.
• Develop and maintain calibration and IQA procedures and processes.
• Ensure calibration records are compliant and uphold data integrity.
• Provide regular reports on calibration system health and compliance status.
• Support internal and external audits related to calibration and quality compliance.
• Manage audit findings, corrective actions, and follow-ups related to calibration and IQA.
• Develop and deliver training on calibration requirements and quality standards.
• Support Production Readiness activities for new tools, equipment, and processes.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain strong housekeeping standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of calibration principles, metrology, and measurement uncertainty.
• Experience with Incoming Quality Assurance processes and calibration databases/systems.
• ASQ Certification (CQI, CCT, CQA, or CQE) strongly desired.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive corrective actions to closure.
