Quality Engineer Bohemia New York Onsite Only
We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer with strong aerospace domain experience to join a leading aerospace organization in Bohemia, NY. This is an onsite role ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in AS9100 environments and quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive CAPA activities • Lead MRB activities and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing & Quality teams • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (8D) and 5 Whys Fishbone • Review and authorize returned materials from customers • Develop and maintain quality documentation procedures & compliance records • Collect and analyze quality data from production suppliers & customer feedback • Conduct Zero Defect Plans (ZDP) • Develop quality dashboards and performance reports using advanced Excel
Required Qualifications:
• 3 years of aerospace industry experience mandatory • Strong knowledge of AS9100 & Quality Management Systems • Experience with NCR, CAPA, MRB, and compliance documentation • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Advanced Excel & data analytics capability
