Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our engineering processes and products. This role is a permanent position and requires a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. The candidate must have a strong understanding and experience with APQP, PPAP, 8D, SPC, and root cause analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a leading company in the engineering industry and to work with a team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control systems that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, define and solve potential quality issues in the design and development phase.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine the source of quality issues and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Utilize APQP, PPAP, 8D, and SPC methodologies to improve processes and product quality.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to the management team.
  • Train and guide team members on quality control processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to improve quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international quality regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role or a similar position in the Engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in quality control methods and standards, including APQP, PPAP, 8D, SPC, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal, and international quality regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
