  • Analyze warranty parts upon request and support the Warranty Quality Engineer in identifying root causes and implementing effective countermeasures.
  • Create inspection standards for production and service parts and address Supplier Quality Performance Report (SQPR) issues to ensure robust incoming and in-process inspection.
  • Report daily Kaizen activities and actively support continuous improvement initiatives on the plant floor to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Lead daily Strike Team meetings to drive timely resolution of open quality concerns and to ensure clear communication of priorities and actions.
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to improve product design, manufacturability, and defect prevention through proactive quality input.
  • Support lab testing activities and assist the Lab Technician as needed, ensuring accurate test execution and data interpretation.
  • Lead Scrap Reduction Team efforts by identifying top scrap drivers, coordinating cross-functional problem-solving, and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Proactively submit and implement Continuous Improvement ideas aimed at enhancing quality performance, reducing waste, and improving overall operational efficiency.

  • Good understanding of automotive blueprint reading and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Hands-on experience with metal stamping, roll forming, and assembly processes in a production setting.
  • Knowledge of gauge concepts and design, including the ability to support development and evaluation of measurement tools and fixtures.
  • Experience with Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) to evaluate and improve measurement system capability and reliability.
  • Familiarity with arc welding and resistance welding inspection and testing methods, including evaluation of weld quality and related defects.
  • Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams, driving alignment and accountability for quality-related actions.
  • Strong skills in root cause analysis, CAPA development, and implementation within a manufacturing environment.
