Quality Engineer
Our client is seeking a results-driven Quality Engineer to join their Eatontown, NJ team and play a key role in product quality, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement. Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Lead cross-functional investigations of non-conformances and customer complaints, identifying root causes, establishing containment, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
-Support production troubleshooting, product and process validations, inspection plans, and qualification of new molds, assemblies, and equipment.
-Drive quality system improvements and continuous improvement initiatives while monitoring KPIs and participating in internal, customer, and certification audits.
-Serve as a key quality representative for customers and internal teams, providing technical support, resolving quality issues, and communicating solutions to management and customers.
Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor"s degree in Quality Engineering or a related technical discipline; equivalent quality experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
-4+ years of directly related quality engineering experience, including experience building and maintaining external customer relationships.
-2+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical device, automotive, or pharmaceutical, with knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards such as ISO 13485.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with proficiency in root cause analysis, 8D, DOE, FMEA, and other quality tools.
Preferred Skills & Experience
-Experience with injection molding, assembly processes, and packaging applications including closures, bottles, and tubes.
-Experience with Six Sigma, Design Controls, metrology, statistics, and Advanced Quality Planning (AQP).

Salary Range - 90-110k
