The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Electrical Engineer to ensure the quality, compliance, and performance of electrical systems in our manufacturing operations. This role involves overseeing inspections, developing test procedures, managing quality documentation, and ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
What you will do?
- Conduct inspections and verification of electrical systems, assemblies, and components for compliance with NEC, IEC, IEEE standards.
- Develop and execute QA inspection plans, test protocols, and acceptance criteria for electrical systems.
- Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and project teams to resolve quality issues throughout all phases of production.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation including inspection reports, test records, and NCR logs.
- Audit suppliers to ensure incoming components meet UL, CSA, and NRTL quality requirements.
- Participate in ISO 9001 audits and compliance activities.
- Train and mentor QA technicians in electrical inspection techniques and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years of electrical engineering or quality assurance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IPC, NETA ATS/MTS).
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, high-pot testers).
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements (OSHA, NFPA 70E).
- Skilled in quality tools: FMEA, SPC, PPAP, control plans.

- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP)
- OSHA 30-Hour Electrical Safety Training
- NETA Technician Certification (Level 2 or higher)
