Quality Engineer
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, systems, and procedures. Monitor manufacturing processes and product outputs to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Investigate warranty returns, identify root causes, and partner with suppliers to implement corrective actions. Ensure products and manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, certification requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Design and execute testing methods to validate product quality and process capability. Manage calibration, maintenance, and performance of test and production equipment. Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Oversee customer quality concerns, investigate issues, and implement effective resolutions. Support manufacturing teams through process development, equipment improvements, and operational enhancements. Provide technical expertise and quality support across product lines and engineering teams.
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering. Experience supporting production environments and quality systems. Background working with electrical products; lighting industry experience is highly preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
