Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift for a Contract with a client in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate supports manufacturing and product development by identifying process defects, analyzing root causes, and driving corrective actions to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Note: Shift: 3 pm to 1 am
Rate Range: $40/Hour to $42/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Quality Engineer II - 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities include:
Provide Quality Engineering support to manufacturing to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
Identify process defects (scrap, nonconforming material, customer complaints) and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support product development teams by contributing to quality planning and new product quality standards.
Monitor and analyze process performance using quality systems to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
Review product and quality specifications to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and process owners to manage product holds, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in quality or manufacturing engineering.
Basic understanding of quality systems, process improvement, and root cause analysis techniques.
Familiarity with quality tools, process monitoring systems, and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
