Implement customer contractual requirements through timely contract review and configuration management processes. Act quickly when potential non-conformances are found by supporting material review board huddles and facilitating corrective action. Lead continuous improvement activities, gather data, and analyze product defect trends and process metrics to stay current with new technologies and methods related to Quality Assurance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview customer requirements and ensure they are met.Participate in and lead closed‑loop root‑cause and corrective action activities.Dispositio'n non-conforming material.Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities.Assemble and review end‑item data packages before customer submittal.Perform contract, purchase order, planning, and supplier data reviews to ensure quality requirements are captured and flowed down.Contribute to a team environment, be flexible, and volunteer support to meet team goals.Collaborate with program management, engineering, purchasing, production control, operations, and inspection.Monitor program quality performance and facilitate process improvement projects to maintain acceptable standards.Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) reviews.Skills and RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience in the aerospace and defense industry.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.Strong background in Corrective Action, Lean Tools, and problem solving.General understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings.Ability to interpret and understand customer and industry specifications (ISO, ASME, MIL STD, MS, etc.).Excellent verbal and technical writing communication skills.Provide project leadership for process improvement initiatives.Understanding of configuration management principles and practices.Experience with Quality Engineering tools (Cause Map, Fish Bone analysis, PFMEA, Six Sigma, SPC, etc.).Strong presentation and organizational skills.Prior background that includes machining, assembly, and inspection is desirable.Attention to detail and self‑starter attitude.Uphold the company's core values of Partnership, “Can‑Do” Attitude, Integrity, and Innovation.Microsoft Office proficient.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.Green Belt training is a plus.Familiarity with SAP is a plus.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.Work EnvironmentMedium‑to‑large office environment.Fast‑paced office environment.Moderate noise level.Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments.Salary RangeBase Salary Range (Inglewood only): $95,000 - $120,000Travel RequirementsThere are typically no travel requirements for this position (0%).EEO StatementThe Marvin Group is an EEO/Disability/Vets Employer.Our company uses E‑Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.To learn more about E‑Verify, including your rights and responsibilities, please visit www.dhs.gov/E-Verify.If you are an individual with a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, please contact People & Culture at 310.674.5030.This position must meet export control compliance requirements.All applicants must be “U.S. persons” within the meaning of ITAR, as defined: a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.#J-18808-Ljbffr
