Quality Engineer III

Job Title: Quality Engineer III
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Type: 4 month Contract
Compensation: $53.48
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform all steps of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure quality standards are met during production
• Utilize PFMEA and MSA tools to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential process and product issues
• Maintain standard working knowledge of IATF requirements to ensure compliance
• Apply metrology skills for precise measurement and quality assessment tasks
• Balance responsibilities between supplier quality and production quality, with experience in both areas

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive-related quality positions
• Proven experience with all steps of PPAP
• Experience with PFMEA and MSA
• Working knowledge of IATF standards
• Understanding of metrology techniques and skills
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required, preferably in mechanical or industrial engineering
• Nice to Have: ASQ CQE certification and auditing experience
