In this role, you will focus on improving quality results throughout the production facility and lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and achieve cost-savings. You will have authority to implement changes and make an immediate impact in a workplace environment that embraces innovation and creativity. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $95,000-105,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefit plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.ResponsibilitiesUphold all ISO, quality, and regulatory standards in regards to production quality, quality assurance, and supplier qualityCreate, maintain, and update quality engineering protocols as well as an audit tracking system with coinciding audit scheduleSolve problems and conduct root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurrence of non-conformance issuesMonitor, communicate, and improve KPI's, including cost reduction, DPPM, and wasteReport errors and activity within the quality management systemRecommend changes for process improvements to the manufacturing and quality processCoordinate with the new product development teams to update blueprints, designs, drawings, and schematics for process improvements, compliance, and simplificationParticipate in quality audits, projects, or special assignments as assignedAssist in investigating customer complaints and ensure appropriate, timely, and accurate resolutionAssist the Engineering Manager and Quality Manager with the strategic vision of the department, develop plans for improvement, and help in executing those plansEnsure adherence to company quality, health, and safety regulationsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering is requiredMinimum of 5+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing facility is requiredMust have 3+ years of experience directly managing the ISO13485 quality standard (NON-NEGOTIABLE)Must have experience with GD&T and measuring devices such as calipersMust be able to read and interpret blueprints, designs, drawings, and schematicsIdeal candidates will possess understanding of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing strategiesMust be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leaderMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorshipEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
