Description

Our client a precision manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer / Inspector to support inspection, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong CMM experience and a solid understanding of machining and quality systems.

Location: Haverhill, MA, (onsite position)

Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Program and operate CMM equipment (PC-DMIS or Calypso preferred)
  • Read blueprints and apply GD&T
  • Manage nonconforming material, MRB, and CAPA activities
  • Support internal ISO 9001 audits and customer audits
  • Work with Engineering and Operations to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain inspection records, FAIR/FAI, and quality documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in quality engineering or inspection within a machining environment
  • Hands-on CMM programming experience
  • Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills
  • Experience with ISO 9001 systems and corrective actions
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Background and Drug Test required

Nice to Have:

  • Medical device experience (ISO 13485 / FDA)
  • PFMEA, PPAP, process validation
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification
