This is a senior quality engineering role responsible for ensuring products meet rigorous standards through advanced quality processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Description

  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost outcomes
  • Lead investigations into nonconforming products, implementing containment strategies and root cause corrective actions
  • Own and monitor Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics to support performance and improvement initiatives
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns and present solutions
  • Review and approve critical compliance documentation, including FAI and End Item Data Packages
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve processes and operational performance
  • Conduct and support internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
  • Mentor and support junior quality engineers, fostering team capability and development
  • Develop and implement rework procedures for nonconforming materials

Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or a specialised manufacturing discipline
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (experience can substitute); advanced degree advantageous
  • Strong background in quality systems, audits, inspection processes, and compliance standards
  • Proven experience leading corrective action initiatives and driving process improvements
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Leadership or mentorship experience within a quality or engineering team
