Quality Engineer

Spirit Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Engineer to work at its office in Jonesboro, AR. Candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Candidate is required to have 12 months of work experience as an Industrial Engineer, Quality Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer.

Candidate duties will include:

Implement and maintain procedures for handling discrepant, defective, or damaged parts, including coordinating inspection, determining root cause, and supporting cost assessment and responsibility allocation.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams regarding product specifications, quality requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and resolution of quality-related issues.
Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to analyze manufacturing defects, determine root causes, and coordinate with production teams to implement improvements.
Develop and implement sampling procedures and inspection guidelines, and create documentation for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Support quality operations by maintaining documentation and records for purchase orders, materials, tools, and equipment.
Candidate must have at least 12 months of experience using MS Excel for data analysis and conducting root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action). Candidate must also have at least 6 months of experience in final assembly inspection, functional testing, and quality verification.

Salary: $77,334/year
