Our Client, a Global Leader in the Design, Manufacture and Distribution of Agricultural Machinery company, is looking for a Quality Engineer Level I for their Jackson, MN location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support production through data-driven problem solving, defect reduction, and process capability analysis to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Lead quality efforts during new product introductions, including planning, risk assessment, and validation to ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing.
  • Manage supplier quality by conducting audits, evaluating incoming materials, and driving corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Improve field quality by analysing warranty and service data, identifying systemic issues, and implementing long-term corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards through documentation, audits, and use of quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Over 2 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
  • Skilled in quality tools, statistical analysis, ERP, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; certifications like CQE, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing are a plus
