This Quality Engineer role focuses on ensuring product and process compliance across engineering and manufacturing, supporting high-specification designs in a precision-driven environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous internal and customer expectations.

Description
- Partner closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure designs meet approved specifications and customer requirements
- Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures and systems to ensure full compliance with standards
- Support Programme Management requirements and ensure quality flow-downs are properly implemented
- Deliver training on quality processes and documentation to new and existing employees
- Conduct detailed inspections using a range of measurement tools to verify product conformity
- Assess and manage vendor compliance with quality expectations
- Analyse quality data and provide guidance to maintain and improve standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and protocols
- Work independently to manage quality deliverables with minimal supervision
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering REQUIRED
- 5+ years' experience in a quality engineering or similar role
- Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Experience using CMM and other inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with a proactive mindset
- US Citizenship Required
