     Job Summary

    The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing processes by implementing quality systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. 

    Requirements:

     Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for manufacturing. 
    • Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality management standard, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements. 
    • Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification bodies). 
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using tools like 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams. 
    • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for quality requirements. 
    • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. 
    • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics (scrap, rework, defects, yield). 
    • Support supplier quality activities including qualification, audits, and performance monitoring. 
    • Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 first article inspection standard. 
    • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials and processes. 
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.      

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 
    • 2–5+      years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing. 
    • Strong knowledge of AS9100 aerospace quality management standard and aerospace regulatory requirements, or equivalent industrial knowledge and experience.
    • Experience with inspection tools, GD&T, and blueprint reading. 
    • Familiarity with statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, Minitab, etc.). 
    • ASQ      certifications (CQE, CQA) preferred.
