Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead food safety and quality improvement projects across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Support scale-up of R&D formulations into commercial production environments
  • Develop and improve process controls, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing documentation
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives focused on defect reduction, process optimization, and customer complaint reduction
  • Train and mentor FSQA teams on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices
  • Partner with Engineering teams on sanitary design, equipment installations, and manufacturing process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, USDA, FDA, and customer-specific requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality and food safety issues
  • Provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries related to food safety and quality systems
  • Travel to manufacturing plants and partner locations to support implementation and execution activities

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related scientific discipline
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience within Food & Beverage environments
  • Strong experience in process improvement, quality systems, and food safety programs
  • Hands-on knowledge of HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, 9 CFR, and 21 CFR regulations
  • Experience leading projects and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Lean Six Sigma or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • Comfortable with regular travel to manufacturing sites
