This is a Quality Engineering opportunity with a client in the metal/aluminium fabrication space, serving customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in SPC, PPAP submission, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis

Client Details

Our client is an ISO9001 certified manufacturing and engineering company, based in the Geneva, Illinois area. They specialize in the design, development, and production of aluminium and metal based products, components, and precision machine applications for various industry customers.

Description

  • Work with the quality team and engineering team through various daily tasks
  • Prepare and submit detailed PPAPs
  • Work through control plans and PFMEAs
  • Manage complex root cause analysis, and associated corrective actions with customers
  • Help maintain ISO9001 compliance and prepare for audits
  • Utilize statistical process control

Profile

  • 3+ years in quality engineering, within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experienced with complex customer PPAPs
  • Ability to drive Root Cause and Corrective Actions
  • Comfortable acting as a technical liaison with customers
  • Degree strongly preferred
  • ISO9001 Auditing experience a plus
  • SPC knowledge a plus
  • FMEA knowledge

Job Offer
