Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications during quoting and translate them into effective inspection strategies, including gaging, fixturing, and inspection costs.
Develop and maintain inspection plans covering raw materials, first-piece, in-process, receiving, outside processes, final inspection, and AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI/FAIR).
Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and customers to resolve quality issues, analyze inspection data, and continuously improve processes using FMEA, Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma principles.
Ensure inspection documentation, models, prints, and customer requirements are accurate, organized, and controlled.
