Quality Engineer

Develop and optimize CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS and other metrology software to support inspection requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to establish inspection strategies and quality standards. Perform first article inspections, PPAPs, measurement system analysis, and gage R&R studies. Create and maintain quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, and customer-specific quality records. Partner with engineering, machining, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements while supporting operational growth.

Hands-on CMM programming experience is required, with PC-DMIS experience MANDATORY. 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer or related manufacturing quality role. Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, dimensional inspection, and metrology practices. Experience working within AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems. Background in quality inspection, statistical analysis, and process validation within manufacturing. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
