JSG is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to support quality, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment. 

Pay rate: $29-$50 DOE 

• Lead and support investigations into internal scrap, nonconformances, and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Partner with Production and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to identify and implement process and quality improvements.
• Analyze scrap, nonconformance, and quality trend data to identify recurring issues, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
• Support the implementation and verification of customer corrective actions.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure corrective actions are completed effectively and sustained over time.
• Assist with quality audits and quality management system (QMS) activities as needed.
• Maintain appropriate quality documentation and records related to investigations, corrective actions, and improvement activities.
• Perform other quality engineering duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably within the aerospace or medical device industry.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and trend quality and manufacturing data.
• Experience working directly with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Previous experience with auditing and/or Quality Management Systems (QMS) strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
