Quality Engineer
Act as the primary advocate for customer quality expectations and concerns. Lead root cause investigations and drive effective corrective actions. Maintain and enhance Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100). Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize processes and inspections. Implement and monitor SPC, Lean, and 6S quality initiatives. Support inspection teams to ensure consistent product compliance. Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Train employees to reduce defects and inspection rework. Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain organized workspaces. Travel periodically between nearby manufacturing facilities as needed.

Prior experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of inspection methods, gauging, and measurement techniques. Hands-on experience with CMM equipment and CAD-based systems. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools. Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to meet physical demands and pass required vision testing.
