The Quality Assurance Engineer supports large-scale manufacturing operations by partnering with production teams to maintain product quality, improve processes, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Description

  • Support quality assurance efforts within a large-scale manufacturing environment by ensuring products meet customer specifications and internal standards
  • Partner closely with operations to provide metallurgical and technical support across production
  • Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for quality improvement
  • Lead and support root cause investigations, rejection analysis, and corrective actions
  • Perform internal audits and maintain compliance with quality systems and procedures
  • Develop and present quality reports and participate in quality-related meetings
  • Conduct daily floor audits to ensure operations are running within defined parameters
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience within steel or heavy industrial manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, with exposure to ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 preferred
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with operations and engineering teams
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in a plant environment
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven setting

Job Offer

  • Salary typically between $70K-$100K depending on experience
