Primary Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, API Q1, ASTM, and customer quality requirements.

Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and related documentation.

Lead internal, process, and product audits; support customer and third-party audits.

Analyze quality data, trends, NCRs, and CPARs to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and suppliers to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Duties

Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and records.

Conduct PFMEA/DFMEA, MSA, SPC, and process capability studies.

Manage calibration programs, gauge R&R activities, and inspection equipment.

Investigate nonconformances, validate corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.

Develop inspection methods for receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

Support training activities and maintain training records and matrices.

Participate in Management of Change (MOC), risk assessments, and management reviews.

Prepare quality metrics related to scrap, rework, and customer escapes.

Comply with all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE in manufacturing area.

Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality systems.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and API Q1 standards.

Experience with SPC, SQC, and core quality tools.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.

Manufacturing experience; fiberglass experience is a plus.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and spend extended time in manufacturing areas.
