Quality EngineerThis organization operates within a highly regulated distribution and assembly environment, supporting customers with complex technical and compliance requirements. Employees benefit from a culture that values engagement, accountability, and practical problem-solving.Job DescriptionInterpret and flow down customer quality requirements across internal teams.Maintain and improve Quality Management System documentation in line with AS9100D and ISO standards.Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured methodologies (PDCA, 5 Whys, 8D).Develop inspection standards and train teams on heightened inspection processes.Analyze quality KPIs, identify trends, and recommend improvement actions.Manage nonconforming materials and coordinate resolution with operational teams.Drive supplier quality initiatives, including corrective action requests and performance monitoring.Support customer audits, source inspections, and quality documentation requirements.Promote visual management and participate in daily operational huddles at the Gemba.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
