Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: East Moline, IL -61244
Duration: 12 Months

• 1st shift (6a.m. 3p.m.) w/ Potential Overtime Required

Introduction

This position is a 12-month assignment with potential overtime required, operating on the 1st shift (6 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Local candidates are highly preferred as this is an on-site position, and metatarsal boots are required from Day 1. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong manufacturing experience
• Computer proficiency in basic office applications (MS Suite)
• GD&T Background
• CMM Programming
• ISO Experience
• Data & Analytics Tool Creation
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Can-do attitude with a willingness to engage, learn, and adapt to changing needs of the business
• Experience with SAP, NCCA, DNCM, and other tools

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Services Team through all factory engineering processes
• Conduct in-line inspections and manage tool & gauge assets
• Process non-conformance and containment activities
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Management to ensure process compliance
• Support shop floor staff in coordination of containment & inspection activities
• Provide daily report-out documentation and ensure daily communication on prioritization and completed work
• Manage process documentation & control
