At Parker our team members belong matter and make a difference.POSITION SUMMARYWith direct supervision you will learn and perform the various aspects of the function byAcquiring knowledge of various departments operations functions responsibilities and workflow.Observing work assignments performed by others and actively participate in hands-on projects andor special assignments.Maintaining communication with program coachmentor to provide feedback on departmental assignments and program improvements.Attending related training and applying it in work assignments.Performing other related responsibilities.RESPONSIBILITIESUses advanced quality and continuous improvement quality engineering principles to enhance product quality reliability and acceptance. Suggests and implements improvement ideas covering products designs system processes and hardware processing.Prevents problems by assessing and qualifying the capability of the product design manufacturing and preventative action systemsImplements quality plans and monitors detection systemsEvaluates performance of the product design manufacturing quality and reliability systemsImplements corrective actions and solves problems that affect quality manufacturability and product reliabilityProvides customervendor and management interface on quality process and manufacturing systemsConducts and supports audits on special processes and quality management systemUpdates quality system documentation in support of audits and customer requestsEnsure development teams maintain focus on customer quality system and product quality requirementsQUALIFICATIONSRequires sophomore junior or senior standing in mechanical or material science engineering program.Physical RequirementsPerforms physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body such as climbing lifting up to 50 pounds balancing and handling of material.DRUG-FREE WORKPLACEIn accordance with Parkers policies and applicable state laws Parker provides for a drug-free workplace.
