IDR is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in either Memphis, TN OR Dallas, TX. This role involves leading a team of Quality Automation Engineers and contributing to the delivery of high-quality mobile applications within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Position Overview for the Quality Engineering Manager:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Quality Automation Engineers by setting clear expectations, providing coaching, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
  • Develop and execute quality engineering strategies that align with the software development lifecycle and organizational objectives.
  • Research, implement, and enhance advanced automated testing strategies for mobile applications.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Design, and Quality Engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
  • Design and maintain automated testing solutions across API, functional, component, unit, and snapshot testing.

Requirements for the Quality Engineering Manager:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software quality engineering or a related technology discipline.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Quality Automation experience.
  • 3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience managing QA or Quality Engineering teams.
  • Experience conducting performance reviews, mentoring team members, and driving employee development.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing methodologies, including functional, API, unit, component, and snapshot testing.
