Quality Engineering Technician

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that automotive components and products meet quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications. You will support manufacturing operations through inspections, testing, and process monitoring, while identifying and resolving quality issues. Working closelywithProduction,Engineering,Suppliers,andQualityteams,youwillhelpdrivecorrectiveactions,continuousimprovementinitiatives,andcompliancewithautomotivequalitysystemstoensureproductsafety,reliability,andcustomersatisfaction. 

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

• Ensureproductandprocesscompliancewithqualitystandards,customerrequirements,andregulatoryspecifications.

• Conductinspections,testing,anddataanalysistoevaluateproductqualityandidentifyimprovementopportunities.

• Develop,maintain,andenforcequalitystandards,controlplans,inspectionmethods,andtestingprocedures.

• Supportrootcauseanalysisandimplementcorrectiveandpreventiveactionstoaddressqualityissuesandimprovereliability.

• CollaboratewithEngineering,Manufacturing,andQualityteamstodrivecontinuousimprovement,processcapability,andoperationalexcellence.

     If you have/are:

• HighschooldiplomaorGEDrequired;technicaldegreeand/orASQcertificationspreferred.

• Proficiencyintheuseofmeasurementandinspectionequipment,withtheabilitytoaccuratelyanalyzeandpresentmeasurementdata.

• Abilitytoreadandinterpretengineeringdrawings,blueprints,andtechnicalspecifications.

• Knowledgeofqualitymanagementsystems,includingISO9001standards,productiondocumentation,andproducttraceabilityrequirements.

• Strongproblem-solvingskills,includingrootcauseanalysistechniquesandabasicunderstandingofstatisticalprinciplesandsamplingmethods.
