We engineer innovative solutions to meet today's complex design and manufacturing challenges.Schedule : Flex ShiftA shift -Monday through Wednesday 6:00am-12:15pm and Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.However, this position requires flexibility to adjust to any of our production shifts as needed to cover for absent Gp12 inspectors (on shift B, C or D) , with or without notice, and for an indefinite period of time.Summary of PositionThe GP12 Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products meet company and customer quality standards through inspections, audits, and process monitoring. This role supports production and engineering teams by maintaining quality documentation, conducting dimensional checks, and leading containment activities when needed. Essential FunctionsConduct Internal Audits (System; Process; and Product audits); Communicate results to Supervisors and Quality ManagerContributes to receiving product inspectionSupport Production Team to provide guidance (as needed)Support Engineering Team in Tool Trials (as needed)Participate in Supplier and Customer problem solving activity (as needed)Lead and participate in Quality Containment actions (as needed)Production floor audits, including process books, gaging of parts, internal sorting.Additional tasks and responsibilities to be assigned by Quality Manager.Participate in and support Plant-wide Clean; Organized; Safe (5S) initiativesResponsibility & Authority:Sort and inspect parts in the pack and scan department.Scan the shipping labels to verify they match the production labels.Perform the Quality Receiving Inspections.Stop the manufacturing process if the result does not produce a quality part within specifications. Stop the manufacturing process if there are any safety concerns (and notify management immediately).Quarantine or recommend "stop-ship" of products that do not meet quality requirementsQualifications:High School Diploma, and/or demonstrated 1 yr work-experience in a quality inspection role.Experience with Injection Molding processes and/or components. Strong Team orientation and organizational skills.Proven communicational skills, both written and oral.Knowledge and experience using Word, Excel, and Power Point software.Ability to stand up in excess of 7.5 hours per day in an environment that may be hot, noisy and dirty. Walking, standing lifting items.
