Overview

This is 100% remote position. CHLA requires a primary residence in California prior to start date.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Quality Improvement Coordinator II is responsible for leading quality /performance improvement initiatives impacting core clinical processes and patient care functions. With others in the Quality Improvement department, works collaboratively with managers and physicians to identify and enhance clinical issues that produce quantitative and qualitative results for internal and external customers. Performance outcome deliverables include but are not limited to quality, safety and process improvement. Performs day-to-day Quality Improvement Activities in accordance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational performance improvement. Supports the Quality and Safety Dashboard, and develops audit tools.

The Quality & Data Analytics team supports CHLA s mission through our expertise in processing, reporting, analyzing, and interpreting both internal and external data to draw actionable insights. We are responsible for developing and maintaining Quality dashboards, data support requests, audits and quality outcomes data, Quality management system metrics, and data migration. Overseeing high reliability visual management boards supporting tiered huddles. Build and maintain quality data lake house. Support DNV surveys and corrective action plans, measure and track regulatory metrics. Maintain quality dashboard library and create data sources for end-users. Manage external NICCU registries data abstraction process, utilize registries for benchmarking and performance improvement.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3+ years of experience related to Quality Improvement. Combination of work experience in a hospital and data analysis experience. Experience working with physicians and other health care professionals.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in health care or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Pay Scale Information

USD $85,654.40 - USD $114,192.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
