QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years’ experience in a healthcare-related analytic role
Hospital management experience
Knowledge of surgical services operations/Operating Room experience is required 
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proficiency PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
Experience with data visualization tools
Analytical mindset with good critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, flexible, detail-oriented, organized, and motivated
Must have good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude 
Experience pluses for the candidate:
Experience with Cerner, EPIC, or other EMR systems
Proficiency in medical and procedural coding
Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or health-related field
Advanced degree a plus but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES

These duties will include, but are not limited to: compiling and organizing healthcare data, assisting in analyzing data to support representatives who provide feedback and recommendations to hospitals and surgeons, scrutinizing participant-provided data to identify patterns and trends, verifying accuracy of data submitted, converting data into practical, easy to understand PowerPoint presentations and reports customized for individual participant needs, communicating analytic insights to inspectors and team members, applying knowledge of health care business operations to surgical services and providing database support for designees.  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and must have experience in Surgical Services Operations

The Quality Improvement team receives, organizes, and analyzes program data provided by program participants which is required to attain or maintain accreditation. The Quality Improvement Specialists is responsible for managing quality improvement duties.
