Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As the QIPM specialist, you will work alongside other members of the QIPM team, as well as clinical, operational, and IT teams to help drive quality and performance improvement efforts for the Quality Incentive Pool Program (QIP). You will:
- Develop, implement, manage resources, report, and manage data of QIP and other State-run program initiatives.
- Help identify and analyze critical issues, recommend solutions to key stakeholders, and implement interventions.
- Identify, interpret, and manage the ambiguity and complexity of State-run quality program measurement specifications, effectively guiding project teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders from across the UCLA Health system.
Salary Range: $95,400 - $208,300/annually

We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven individual with:
- A Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
- A Master's Degree (MPH, MHA, or MBA/equivalent), preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience in hospital quality, hospital management, or hospital consulting with a proven track record in operations, process improvement, and project management, required
- Experience with state/federally mandated quality improvement programs, preferred
- Expertise in project management, data analysis, and presentations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to conceptualize, develop, implement, and evaluate projects
- Ability to develop, implement, evaluate methods and systems to improve efficiency
- Proficient in computer use and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, database management, and analysis
