An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, or a related field is required, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. A minimum of two years of experience in Developmental Disabilities or Intellectual Disabilities is necessary, with familiarity in working with OPWDD and the NYS Justice Center, particularly regarding 624 and 625 regulations, being highly favorable. Candidates should possess a background in quality assurance, risk monitoring, and corrective action strategies, along with a solid understanding of investigative techniques and labor relations.
