The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes and procedures are adhered to, in order to ensure the quality of products.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for accepting or rejecting products as well as raw materials as necessary.
Reviewing specifications, standards, and/or test plans and making recommendations.
Keep records of issues found and send defective products back to the production line or suppliers for repair; review and implement corrective actions to the product and/or process while reporting results.
Review non-conforming products to determine the problems in the manufacturing process and report the root cause found.
Conduct testing on products or processes to determine how they perform in a simulated environment.
Laboratory testing of customer complaints and returned goods samples.
Give direction to production teams to shut down the filling processes when non-conforming processes are identified.
Retrieval and verification of all Certificates of Analysis (COAs) prior to unloading.
Assist in various department functions as required.
Review, implement, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions derived from customer complaints and/or customer returns.
Make recommendations for process improvements within the inventory function.
