SUMMARY Entry-level position responsible for supporting quality inspection and testing activities. This role focuses on learning quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation processes while assisting in maintaining product quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections Perform basic visual inspections of materials and products Use basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) under supervision Record inspection results and maintain documentation support data entry into quality systems and production systems Identify and report defects or non-conforming materials Assist with sorting or containment activities as needed Follow ISO procedures, work instructions, and quality standards Maintain clean and organized inspection areas Participate in basic quality training and continuous improvement efforts Follow and perform 5S Audits Cleaning, handling and storage of gauges Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Overview:Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Quality Inspector to support quality inspection and testing activities within a manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in quality assurance. The Quality Inspector will learn inspection techniques, quality standards, and documentation processes while assisting with incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. This role works closely with production and quality teams to help ensure products meet company and customer quality requirements. Job Duties:Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products. Perform visual inspections and basic dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation. Support data entry into quality and production systems. Identify and report defects or non-conforming materials to the Quality team. Assist with sorting, containment, and rework activities as needed. Follow ISO procedures, work instructions, and established quality standards. Perform routine 5S audits and maintain a clean, organized inspection area. Clean, handle, and properly store inspection gauges and measuring equipment. Participate in quality training and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred, but not required. Ability to read and follow work instructions and inspection procedures. Basic understanding of measuring tools such as calipers and gauges is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency for data entry and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement practices. Physical DemandsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance and appropriate equipment. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods. Ability to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
