Job Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on spacecraft components.
• Utilize various measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines.
• Inspect and perform tests on mechanical, electrical, or structural components and assemblies.
• Make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed.
• Work from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of additional education and/or experience in quality assurance or inspection.
• Experience using measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and gages.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• US Citizenship required.

Preferences

• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment to solve problems.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic assemblies.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive salary range of $85,400.00 - $134,200.00. While this is our intent, it is not a promise to hire by Northrop Grumman. We consider a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
