    Description

    The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring products and incoming materials meet applicable contract, drawings, specifications, and written requirements per inspection instructions.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs final visual and dimensional inspections of products
    • Inspects incoming materials and parts from suppliers to ensure they conform to specifications
    • Dispositions product according to written procedures and work instructions
    • Maintains inventory location and status via barcode scanning and electronic database
    • Maintains and updates documentation of records via FilePro, written documentation and spreadsheets
    • Communication with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Cell Leads
    • Any other task assigned by manager

    Job Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Strong communication skills
    • IPC-A-610 Certified, preferred
    • IPC-A-620 Certified, preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to use a microscope
    • Able to work independently and as a team
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, occasionally 
    • Willing to work overtime as needed
    • Must be able to pass a visual acuity test
    • Must be able to work independently and problem solve with minimal involvement from Supervisor

     

    2nd Shift Schedule: 3:30PM-12:30AM M-Th; 2:30PM-10:30PM Every other Friday

    External hires must be able to complete training on 1st shift prior to starting on 2nd shift
