Job Full Description

Job Title: Quality Inspector - Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $25/hr
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd Shift

1st Shift 6:30am-3pm

2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will ensure that all parts and assemblies meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and industry quality standards. If you have aerospace experience, enjoy working with precision tools, and take pride in accuracy and organization, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and similar tools.
  • Perform inspections using CMM and Micro-View equipment.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as needed.
  • Assist in root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to quality issues.
  • Maintain and track calibration records for tools and inspection equipment.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with company quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following company and safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience with common inspection tools and strong understanding of GD&T principles.
  • Aerospace inspection experience is strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of CMM and Micro-View equipment.
  • Solid math and analytical skills to determine product acceptability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, objective, and extremely detail oriented.
