The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for performing all aspects of inspection on complex aluminum parts and final assemblies for the Aerospace and Defense industries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
- Mechanical inspection of CNC machined and brazed components
- Operate CMM for in-process and final inspections. Experience is a plus, but training will be provided as needed.
- Final Inspection
- Visual Inspection of finished components and assemblies
- Practical understanding and application of GD&T
- Completion of inspection documentation
EXPERIENCE:- High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED)
- Previous machine shop quality experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints
- Basic understanding of GD&T required
- Demonstrated ability to use basic mechanical inspection tools: calipers, micrometer, pin/plug/thread gauge, height stand, indicator.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal communication skills
