Quality Inspector – Aerospace
Location: Tulsa, OK  |  Type: Full-Time  |  Pay: $20.00–$30.00/hr
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join the manufacturing team of a local client. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a precision manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering high-quality products through accurate inspection and documentation.
Essential Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies
• Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, dial indicators, and other inspection tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or products
• Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns
• Support first article inspections, process audits, and final acceptance inspections as required
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities
• Verify calibration status of inspection equipment prior to use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

• Experience in precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, industrial equipment, or highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems
• Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections
