Description

Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Burlington, NC
Shift: 1st 
Pay: $16+

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Identify and document product defects or nonconforming materials.
  • Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Verify product measurements, tolerances, and overall workmanship.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality concerns arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety procedures.
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic computer skills for documenting inspections and quality records.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
