Job Description
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Burlington, NC
Shift: 1st
Pay: $16+
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify and document product defects or nonconforming materials.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records.
- Verify product measurements, tolerances, and overall workmanship.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when quality concerns arise.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer specifications, and safety procedures.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for documenting inspections and quality records.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED required.
